Active weather ahead – 01/19/18
Today: Make plans to get outdoors! It will be beautiful today with partly to mostly sunny skies. We’ll deal with dry conditions. It will also be breezy. Occasionally, we could get gusts to 30 mph; however, this will be rather sporadic. Highs will boost further, reaching the 60s and 70s.
Tonight: Lows dip to the 20s and 30s. We’ll have mainly clear skies overnight.
Extended: Tomorrow, we have a wind alert level one in effect! That means we could get some gusts to the 30s from time-to-time. We’ll have above-average temperatures tomorrow as well. On Saturday and primarily in the afternoon and evening, snow will be ramping up along the Continental Divide. This could spill into some of the lower elevations late Saturday. We have better chances for snow becoming widespread Sunday. Hefty accumulations are possible in the mountains this weekend with minor snow accumulations and wet, slushy roads in the lower elevations. Snow winds down late Sunday. On top of the snow during the second half of the weekend, it will be GUSTY! Get ready for big changes in our weather this weekend.
