Warm & Breezy Friday 1-18-18

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies overnight will keep temps warmer, in the 20s and 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny skies continue Friday with warmer and breezier conditions. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s for the lower elevations with 50s and 60s for the higher terrain. Winds along the eastern slopes of the mountains may gust above 30 mph elevating the fire danger.

EXTENDED: As the weekend storm system has slowed down, much of Saturday will be mild and dry. More clouds will begin to spread in with breezy conditions and high fire danger. Snow will begin over the Continental Divide and continue spreading eastward late Saturday. The High Country looks to see anywhere from 6 to 12 inches of snow this weekend! Snow moves in to Southern Colorado Sunday with a cold front bringing cold temps and blustery north winds. Minor accumulations still look good at this point in time. We will continue to track where those snow accumulations look possible over the next day or two!
