Weather Alert: Monday road conditions

Roads are looking better this afternoon, but conditions look to worsen again for your evening commute.

Fremont County issued a warning today:

The I-25/Cimarron scheduled road work closure of the SB I-25 exit ramp to Cimarron has been canceled due to the cold weather.

If you are traveling to the Denver Airport be careful and check your flight status.

The FAA has canceled the ground stop for Denver. We were spacing out flights during a busy arrival period as crews treat and clear runways. The snow is expected to taper off over the next couple hours. Some delays are still possible but no significant impacts right now.

Downtown Colorado Springs to Downtown Denver (I-25 NB): 60 minutes

Pueblo to Colorado Springs (I-25 NB): 37 minutes
