Snow alert day – 01/15/18

Today: We have a snow alert in effect today! That means the area could be impacted by light to moderate snowfall. A few inches of snow accumulation are possible. Snow will be continuing on-and-off throughout the day before winding down later this evening. Highs will be chilly, only reaching the 20s for many areas. A slight breeze could make it feel even chillier! This morning, we could be battling patches of freezing fog and drizzle, so be prepared for some slick spots!

Tonight: Overnight, we could also develop another round of patchy, freezing fog. Temperatures will be extremely cold! Lows drop to the single digits for most areas. It will be bone cold, so make sure to bundle up before you step outdoors!

Extended: It will be drier and sunnier Tuesday. Highs will boost to the 30s for most neighborhoods. We’ll stick with a mixture of sunshine and clouds throughout the work week. Friday and through the weekend, we could be contending with some gusts, so stick with us for the latest. Saturday and Sunday could feature our next round for some wintry weather.
