Small fire ignites at Western Forge in Colorado Springs

A small fire at Western Forge in Colorado Springs was quickly knocked down on Friday.

According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department, an exterior metal collection hopper which holds metal shavings and dust caught fire.

It took a matter of minutes for crews to get the fire under control and extinguished. No one was injured.

Authorities say it appears to be accidental.

This is an ongoing investigation.
