Springs police ID victim fatally shot outside liquor store

The Colorado Springs Police Department has identified the 35-year-old who was fatally shot in Colorado Springs on Sunday.

Shawnee Tapia suffered a gunshot wound outside a liquor store in the 3800 block of Astrozon Boulevard just before 8 p.m. on January 7. He was rushed to the hospital where he died from his injury.
