Record warmth possible this afternoon – 1/9/18
TODAY: Skies will be mostly sunny today with the exception of a few clouds. This is all thanks to high pressure! Things will be slightly breezy today and when you combine this with the sunshine, we’ll be dealing with possible record warm temperatures! Elevated fire danger is also a concern. Snow will be developing in places around the Continental Divide.
TONIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy tonight and our lows cool into the 30s. Snow continues in the central mountains.
EXTENDED: Weather alerts are in place for tomorrow as a cold front sweeps through the area. This will likely produce rain or a rain snow mix to start. This should eventually transition to all snow by the evening as our temperatures cool. Light accumulations are possible and would mainly be contained to higher terrain. Stay with KRDO for the latest.
