Mild in to the Weekend 1-4-17

TONIGHT: A quiet night ahead with mostly clear skies and temperatures falling to the teens and 20s.

TOMORROW: A mostly sunny start to Friday with high clouds spreading in from the west later in the day. Temps should still be able to warm nicely, about 5-10 degrees or more above average in the 50s to near 60.

EXTENDED: A warm start to the weekend but Sunday will be a little cooler with our next disturbance moving in bringing more cloud cover and some light rain and snow showers to Southern Colorado. The central Mountains will do fairly well along the Continental Divide getting around 2-5 inches with more locally. Accumulations would be very light along the eastern Mountains as this will be a fast moving storm system. Highs on Sunday will cool to the 40s and low 50s but then start warming up again for the start of next week.
