Man in life-threatening condition following auto vs pedestrian accident in Colorado Springs
A man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries on Thursday after being hit by a vehicle near an intersection in Colorado Springs.
CSPD first reported the incident at 4:21 p.m. The Major Accident Unit is on the scene investigating.
According to a spokesperson for the Department, the driver hit the man while turning left onto N. Circle.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
As of 6 p.m., investigators estimated that the southbound lanes of N. Circle would be closed for another hour. Drivers are asked to take an alternate route.
