Where you can recycle your Christmas tree in Pueblo

With Christmas over and the New Year right around the corner, many living in Pueblo are looking for a convenient way to dispose of their tree.

Starting January 3, Vision Recycled Aggregate at 195 Vision Lane will be taking trees at no cost and will use them to create free mulch and chips.

It will be open until Saturday, January 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vision Recycled Aggregate will not be operating on Sundays. Free mulch will be available after noon on January 15.

Organizers just ask that the trees be stripped of stands, wires, and nails. The business is also not taking wreaths or garlands.

Cash donations will be welcome. If you need more info, call the Pueblo City-County Health Department at 583-9901.
