Bitterly Cold Night Ahead – 12/26/17
TONIGHT: Occasional flurries and light snow will eventually taper off toward sunrise. Lows in the teens and single digits are expected. The higher terrain may see some 20s.
WEDNESDAY: there may still be some low clouds and patchy freezing fog around early Wednesday keeping temps cool again over the lower terrain and eastern plains. Sunshine will gradually return with most areas a little warmer than Tuesday with highs ranging from the 30s east to the 50s west.
EXTENDED: A gradual warming trend will then continue through the week with 50s and 60s for highs by Friday before our next arctic air mass arrives by Sunday. We’ll have snow showers in the forecast through the weekend and into early next week.
