New trial date set for man accused of killing ex-girlfriend in Colorado Springs
A new trial date has been set for the man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and hiding her body in a storage unit in Colorado Springs.
James Woo faces murder charges in connection with Julie Tureson’s death. Her body was found inside a storage unit at Public Storage back in 2016.
On Friday, his lawyers asked the judge to push back the trial date again, but the judge refused their request, granting them only another week of prep time.
Woo’s attorney claimed they needed more time to examine computer, d-n-a, fingerprint, and gunpowder residue evidence.
Woo’s trial is set to begin on January 22.
