Colorado Springs police searching for man who robbed N. Academy Subway

Colorado Springs police have yet to locate the man who robbed a Subway store at gunpoint Thursday on Academy Boulevard.

The man entered the restaurant in the 1400 block of Academy and pulled a handgun while demanding money from an employee.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 6-feet-tall, with facial hair styled like a goatee, wearing a gray hoodie, orange beanie-style hat and blue jeans.

The suspect fled. There are no reported injuries for the Subway employee.
