Very Cold Night – 12/21/17

TONIGHT: As skies clear out overnight, lows will cool into the teens and single digits by sunrise.

FRIDAY: The last day of the work week will be sunny and cool with highs in the 20s, 30s, and 40s (mountains and Front Range, respectively).

EXTENDED: The long range forecast still looks fairly active, though it’s likely to be a bunch of near-miss snow opportunities like each one we had in the Fall. Another system moves in on Saturday which could bring us some light snow showers. The worst of the arctic air appears to stay east through Christmas weekend, which means afternoon highs won’t be nearly as cold as originally expected.
