You can see the clerk trying to stop Aragon from getting away with store merchandise.

Pueblo police were able to identify Aragon not only from tips but also because he was already in the department’s database.

Aragon initially denied to officers that he was even at the store on Sunday and that people were accusing him of stealing on Facebook. He also admitted to stealing in the past, but it had been a long time since.

After further questioning, he eventually admitted to the crime saying he needed to get Christmas gifts for his niece and nephew and didn’t have a job.

Aragon’s next court appearance will be December 29 at 9:30 a.m.
