HSPPR offering free adoptions of senior pets for holidays

As if you needed something else to celebrate the holidays, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is waiving adoption fees for pets 5 years and older.

The humane society saw such a success for ‘Bring Them Home for the Holidays’ in 2016, it decided to bring it back this year. HSPPR adopted out 193 cats and 185 dogs, including Severus. Severus was a transfer from a hoarding-neglect case involving hundreds of dogs, and he had scabs from old wounds all over his body. After being treated and loved at the shelter, he ended up going home with a new dad.

This adoption deal will be going on from now until December 31. It includes Pueblo Animal Services.
