Cold Case: Arrest made in brutal murder of Colorado teacher

The Elbert County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday an arrest in the murder of a Kiowa, Colo. teacher in 2010.

On Monday, Daniel Pesch was arrested by investigators for the death of Randy Wilson.

Pesch is charged with 1st-Degree Murder, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing a Peace Officer and Attempted Escape.

Wilson’s body was found 15 miles away from a gas station in Bennett, Colo. in June of 2010. He had a bag over his head, a belt around his neck and his hands were tied behind his back, according to authorities.

Due to a court order, no other details on the investigation have been released.
