Monday morning forecast – 12/18/17

Today: Highs will be much warmer compared to what we got yesterday. Temperatures will be above-average, reaching the 40s and 50s for much of southern Colorado. On top of that, there will be increasing sunshine! It will be beautiful weather for getting outdoors.

Tonight: Lows drop to the 20s and 30s under mostly clear skies. It will be quiet overnight.

Extended: Our big weather story in your seven day forecast? Our COLD temperatures later this weekend and into the weekend. By Thursday, temperatures will drop to the 20s and 30s. That’s when we’re tracking our next chance for snow (only minor accumulations are possible). On Thursday, there will also be gusty northerly winds. This weekend, overnight lows will plummet to the single digits and subzero temperatures. Highs will only climb to the teens and 20s on Saturday. This weekend, we also have a slight chance for some light snow.
