9-yr-old drowning victim at Colorado Springs hotel identified

The identity of the 9-year-old who drowned in Hotel Elegante’s pool on Saturday has been released.

Colorado Springs police responded to the hotel of South Circle Drive at around 8:15 p.m.

A group of people who were at the pool had pulled Yevaeh Patrick-Moon out and were trying to perform CPR on her when officers arrived.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department’s crew took over and immediately began life-saving efforts.

Patrick-Moon was transported to the hospital where she later died.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are still unclear at this time.
