Pueblo police arrest suspect in multiple carjackings, armed robbery in Pueblo
The Pueblo Police Department announced on Friday night that the man suspected of an armed robbery in Pueblo as well as multiple carjackings has been arrested.
Omar Antonio Valdez, 24, is the primary suspect in the robbery at the Walmart off Northern Avenue on Monday.

He is also believed to be the man who carjacked at least two vehicles at gunpoint.

Valdez had five warrants out for his arrest. Those include:
Burglary Robbery which includes Aggravated Robbery with Intent to Kill/Maim/Wound and Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender. Burglary which includes Motor Vehicle Theft, Trespass and Obstructing a Police Officer. Assault which includes Menacing with a Real/Simulated Weapon and Theft. Failure to Appear which includes Registration Fictitious Plate and Defective Vehicle
His total bond amount is $612,200, according to the Pueblo Police Department.
Valdez also has two additional active warrants for Felony Assault, Menacing, and Theft out of out of
El Paso County for a $2,000 bond, and a Failure to Appear for 2nd Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, 1st Degree Criminal Trespass, and Obstructing a Police Officer out of Pueblo County for a $10,000 bond.
