El Paso County man wanted for stealing over $500 in coins from laundromat

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who smashed up multiple vending machines and stole more than $500 in coins from a Security laundromat.

Witnesses said he did it right in front of them and told them not to look, according to a news release issued Friday.

The sheriff’s office says the burglary happened on Nov. 24 in the 300 block of Main Street. That’s when the suspect used a crowbar to break into two detergent dispensers and a soda machine.

The man was described as white, in his 30s, and approximately 5’6″ tall with a heavy build. Witnesses described his vehicle as a dark gray or green Honda Accord.
