Colorado Springs police: Death on Carmel Drive doesn’t appear suspicious

Colorado Springs police say the death of a man found Thursday in a southeast Springs house doesn’t appear to be suspicious.

Multiple police units responded to the house in the 1800 block of Carmel Drive Thursday morning and found the deceased man, whose identity hasn’t been released. At the time, no information was given on the nature of his death.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will determine the exact cause and manner of death.

CSPD didn’t say if the investigation was closed, but the department says no further information will be released.
