Third night of Hanukkah was lit in Colorado Springs

Chabad Lubavitch celebrated Hanukkah in a cool way on Thursday night….literally.

It was the 3rd night of Hanukkah, and to mark the special occasion, the members of the Chabad lit the candles on a giant ice menorah on the north side of Colorado Springs.

“The message of Hannah is no matter how much we get today there is always room to grow tomorrow to increase the light max our potential and tap into our crude of oil,” said Rabbi Moshe Liberow.

The night was made even more special when a representative from Senator Michael Bennet’s office arrived to help kindle the flames.

Governor John Hickenlooper also sent a representative on his behalf.

The Rabbi says they were all grateful to have such recognition.
