Fountain Valley School bomb threat suspect sentenced to 30 months
The man who threatened to set off a smoke bomb at Fountain Valley School where he taught will now head to prison for 30 months.
Bryan Bolding will also be required to two years of mandatory parole.
Bryan Bolding pleaded guilty to felony menacing on Thursday. Other charges against him were dismissed. Following the ruling, he was immediately taken into custody.
According to court documents, Bolding had recently learned his contract would not be renewed.
Bolding’s underage son was also arrested in the case.
