WANTED: 24-year-old accused of 2 carjackings, armed robbery in Pueblo
Pueblo police are searching for a 24-year-old possibly linked to two carjackings and an armed robbery from earlier this week.
Omar Antonio Valdez is accused of robbing the Walmart off Northern Avenue in Pueblo at gunpoint on Monday afternoon. He is also suspected of Menacing of a Pueblo police officer and two separate carjackings where shots were fired.

The second vehicle in the carjacking, a 2002 silver Hyundai Accent, was taken on Monday and has since been located so he is now believed to be traveling in a different vehicle.

There is a $500,000 warrant out for Valdez for charges of Robbery, Menacing, and two counts of 1st Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft
Valdez also has two additional active warrants for Felony Assault, Menacing, and Theft out of out of
El Paso County for a $2,000 bond, and a Failure to Appear for 2nd Degree Burglary, 1st Degree Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, 1st Degree Criminal Trespass, and Obstructing a Police Officer out of Pueblo County for a $10,000 bond.
Investigators are unsure if he is connected to the carjacking off West 29th Street in Pueblo on Wednesday morning, but they ask that the public still keep an eye out for a stolen 2006 blue Mercedes R350 with a Colorado plate of UEQ-505.
