Pueblo police seek suspect after another violent carjacking

Pueblo police are looking for a man who committed a violent carjacking early Wednesday morning.

The department says a Hispanic man fired a handgun into the rear driver-side window of the victim’s car. The suspect then pulled the victim out of the car, got in and sped off from the 1200 block of West 29th Street

According to a news release, the suspect reportedly arrived with another person in an older model red single cab truck.

The stolen vehicle is a blue 2006 Mercedes R350 with the Colorado plate UEQ-505. The Mercedes has a black roof, chrome rims, and possibly a gold Air Jordan sticker on the rear window.

Police say the suspect has a similar description to the recent string of carjackings/shootings. He’s described as bald with a light brown mustache, standing 5’6″ with a stocky build. He was wearing a black and red jacket with blue jeans.

We are working to bring you the latest information. If you have information on the suspect, you’re encouraged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-7867.
