Light rain and possible possible tonight – 12/13/17

Today: Temperatures will be slightly cooler compared to yesterday; however, we’ll still be above-average! Highs will reach the 40s and 50s for many areas. We’ll have partly cloudy skies with a bit of a breeze. In fact, fire danger will be elevated slightly. Use caution!

Tonight: A cold front drops from north to south later this evening. For this reason, it could be slightly blustery! We also have a small chance for a rain and snow mix later tonight along the Palmer Divide and Teller County. This will spread through southern Colorado tomorrow. Only minor accumulations are possible. There could be a few slick spots on the roads early tomorrow, so stay weather aware!

Extended: Through the day tomorrow, there could be a light rain and snow mixture across southern Colorado. Generally, 0.5 to 1″ of snow will be possible in the lower elevations with 1.5″ in Monument, 1-3″ in Teller County and 2-4″ for the Beulah Valley/Rye area. We’ll be drier late Thursday. Temperatures vary the next several days. This upcoming weekend, there’s another slight chance for unsettled, wintry weather.
