Man in custody for deadly shooting near Colorado Springs Family Dollar

A man has turned himself in to police in Pennsylvania for a deadly shooting at a Colorado Springs dollar store in October.

Donte Jose Mayo, 24, was identified by police as the suspect in the shooting death of Alex Ainsworth, 18. Ainsworth died on October 26 after he was shot outside the Family Dollar on E. Boulder Street.

Another person was shot in that incident, but their condition isn’t known.

Mayo turned himself in on December 5 in Alleghany County, Pennsylvania.
