Police: Man wanted for buying cell phones with counterfeit money

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for help finding a man accused of scamming people by buying their old cell phones with counterfeit money.

19-year-old Kvonte Deondre Love is wanted for forgery, police said.

He’s accused of using the internet to find people selling cell phones, meeting up with them and purchasing the phones with counterfeit bills.

If arrested and convicted, Love could face up to three years in prison.
