Schools get grant money for pot prevention programs

Several southern Colorado schools are receiving new funds aimed at keeping marijuana out of the hands of students.

Academy District 20, Alamosa School District, Fremont RE-1, Fountain‐Fort Carson District 8, Woodland Park RE-2, and Colorado Early Colleges will be getting part of the $9.2 million dollar grant.

According to the Denver post, districts are using the money to hire nurses, social workers and counselors to combat marijuana use.
