Loveland Ski Area gets new mascot dog

Many people were heartbroken when Loveland Ski Area’s snow dog and mascot Toby died unexpectedly in May.

Although owner Dustin Schaefer was devastated by the loss of Toby, he soon found Parker, who eased the pain a bit. Schaefer began taking Parker around as the new official mascot for Loveland, and so far people’s reactions have been priceless.

“No one could ever replace Toby,” Schaefer commented, “but Parker puts a smile on people’s faces every time we take him somewhere.”

Parker has already been to quite a few events, making an appearance at the Easter Seals Camp and putting smiles on the campers’ faces.
