It happened Saturday night near the intersection of South Highway 85 and Fontaine Boulevard.
A Medina Alert was issued for the truck that left the scene. It’s described as an older, burgundy Dodge pickup truck with a camper shell and a partial Colorado license plate of 302-??? It may have front-end damage. The truck was last seen heading southbound on Mesa Ridge Parkway.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and died.
