Robbers hit two 7-Eleven stores in Colorado Springs

A group of robbers targets two convenience stores in Colorado Springs, early in the morning Thursday.

CSPD says the first robbery happened at a 7-Eleven on the 2500 block of Delta Drive.

8-10 teenagers entered the store, threatened the clerk and stole various items.

Then about 20 minutes later, the same group robbed a 7-Eleven on the 500 block of N. Union Blvd. Officers identified them through surveillance video from the first robbery. They say in a similar fashion, the group took items from the store, threatened the clerk and tried to get into the cash register.

No one was hurt.

The group got away and no arrests have been made, but police say the investigation is ongoing.
