KRDO first told you about a possible run last week, but Monday Glenn sent out a statement explaining his reasons for running.
Glenn’s statement reads in part, “I’m concerned about the direction of our state and country. Those who were elected to represent us squabble rather than resolve. They talk instead of listen. They produce excuses instead of results. Our citizens are frustrated and angry. I know that together we can do better.”
Glenn ended his statement saying: “As your U.S. Congressman, I will be fully committed to our success. We’ll get there by leveraging the skills, knowledge and passions of every person in my congressional district. Together, we will look for practical solutions to many of the problems that have blocked our citizens from reaching their American Dream. Thank you, God bless you, your family and these United States of America.”
Glenn throws his hat into an already crowded arena. On the GOP side, he will go up against incumbent Congressman Doug Lamborn and state Senator Owen Hill.
