President Trump intervenes to allow Afghan girls to come to US to participate in competition

President Trump has personally intervened to help a group of girls from western Afghanistan to come to the US and take part in a robotics competition.

According to ABC News the six girls were denied visas, the reason was never publicly disclosed.

But then President Trump learned about the story and asked the National Security Council to see if it could help. Then the NSC went to the Department of Homeland Security, who approved the group through a special parole system.
