Next Quentin Tarantino movie tackles famous U.S. murders & cult

Quentin Tarantino is getting ready to make his 9th movie, and this time he’s going to 1969.

According to The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, his next film will center around the Charles Manson cult and the Tate-Labianca Murders.

Pregnant actress Sharon Tate (who was married to director Roman Polanski), and Leno LaBianca and his wife, were brutally murdered by members of the Manson Cult, under Manson’s orders.

Manson and several of his “Family” members were caught and prosecuted.

Charles Manson was sentenced to die in the gas chamber, but is now in prison for life, after California ruled the death penalty was unconstitutional in 1972 (capital punishment in California has since been reinstated).

Tarantino says he has a script written, and will direct. No casting decisions have been released.
