Crews search Lake Pueblo for missing fisherman

A search is underway in Lake Pueblo for a fisherman who disappeared Sunday morning.

The search is for a 65-year-old man from Pueblo West who was fishing from the north shore in the State Wildlife Area.

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, witnesses called 911 when the man went into the water to retrieve his fishing rod and didn’t come back to the shore.

The area of the search is about three miles west of the Northshore Marina, outside Lake Pueblo State Park near a closed boat ramp.
