Victim of assault in Pueblo dies, marking city’s 2nd homicide of 2017

The victim of a recent assault in Pueblo has died, marking the city’s second homicide case of 2017. 62-year-old Donald Henson was assaulted on Sprague Avenue during a disagreement over a vehicle on June 9, according to Pueblo police. Henson was hospitalized and later died. Jesus Lopez was arrested and initially charged with second-degree assault. The charge is now being updated to second-degree homicide, police said.
