1 injured at storage unit fire in COS

Crews responded to a fire at a storage unit complex in Colorado Springs Saturday afternoon.

The fire was at Public Storage on Edison Avenue.

A storage unit renter suffered burns to their hands and was taken to a hospital, according to CSFD’s Twitter page.

A single storage unit caught fire and caused minor damage to adjacent units, CSFD said.

There is no word yet on what sparked the fire.
