BEAR ALERT: Bear strolls streets of Manitou Springs

A bear was spotted roaming the streets of Manitou Springs Wednesday.

The Manitou Springs Police Department posted photos on its Facebook page, showing the bear in the area of Ruxton Avenue.

The bear was seen strolling on the sidewalk and near dumpsters.

The police department also posted a warning to “Be Bear Aware.”

This is just one of several recent bear sightings in Southern Colorado.
