Locals react to Comey’s testimoney

Mnsy people gathered Thursday morning at Sheldon’s Luncheonette in Colorado Springs to watch former FBI director James Comey testify before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

There were opinions across the board about how they believed the testimony would turn out.

Many people wanted to see the truth come out of the testimony.

“Well, I think the testimony is good. There are a lot of questions about Russian interference here with our government elections,” said Colorado Springs native David Perl.

The committee will head into closed briefings Thursday afternoon.
