City announces 2C road-paving plans for 2017

Road paving work for 20-17 was launched Tuesday with a kickoff event to announce plans to fix Colorado Springs roads.

The city came in under budget and ahead of schedule last year with 229 roads paved.

The project started Tuesday on Foxridge drive and Monica drive, a main vein to other District 4 streets.

225 more streets are expected to be paved this year. A list of the projected streets and more information can be found at coloradosprings.gov/C2.

The project is expected to be finished on April 28, 2018.
