Small brush fire in Fountain

The City of Fountain Fire Department responded to reports of a brush fire Sunday afternoon.

Crews responded to 230 South Main Street just after 5:30 p.m. The fire was burning behind the Pikes Peak Library District Fountain Library.

The fire is estimated to be less than two acres. The cause is under investigation.

Fire crews from Fountain, Hanover, Security and Fort Carson all assisted.
