Colorado Parks and Wildlife to hold sportsman roundtable meeting

Hunters and anglers are invited to share their ideas and opinions with Colorado Parks and Wildlife at a roundtable meeting at 6 p.m. Monday.

“Hunters and anglers understand the importance of Colorado’s wildlife, not only to the southeast region, but to the entire state. The health of habitat and wildlife affects all of us,” said Dan Prenzlow, southeast region manager.

The meeting will be in held the southeast region office in the 4200 block of Sinton Road.

Several elected representatives will attend the meeting along with leadership and field staff from the southeast region.

The meeting will be open to the public.

“The public’s voice and input is an important part of our management and we want to hear what our sportsmen and women have to say,” said Prenzlow. “This roundtable discussion gives us an opportunity to sit down with members of the public and discuss all of the issues the agency is facing.”
