National Parks Service offers free admission for Presidents Day

The National Parks Service is offering free entrance fees Monday in honor of Presidents Day. The waiver includes entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees.

Visitors can go to one of the 120 national parks that typically charge a fee including Rocky Mountain National Park and Great Sand Dunes National Park. More than 400 parks are available for free every day.

Here is a list of the other fee-free dates:

April 15-16 and 22-23: Weekends of National Park Week August 25: National Park Service Birthday September 30: National Public Lands Day November 11-12: Veterans Day Weekend Any fourth grade student can get a free pass through the Every Kid in a Park Program. Active duty military and people with a permanent disability can also get free annual passes.
