New district court judge to be sworn in Thursday

The 10th Judicial District will swear in a new judge Thursday. Allison P. Ernst will be filling the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge David W. Crockenberg. The swearing in ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. at the Maes Pueblo Judicial Building on N. Elizabeth Street. Prior to joining the court, Ernst practiced criminal and domestic relations matters at Becker & Ernst, LLC. She also served as a deputy Colorado state public defender in Pueblo and as a member and secretary of the City of Pueblo Zoning Board of Appeals.
