Pueblo County Commissioners vote on proposed budget for 2017

The Pueblo County Board of County Commissioners will be voting on whether or not to adopt the proposed budget for 2017 at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Comissioners’ Chambers on W. 10th Street. The proposal includes a number of new revenues, including new funds from marijuana revenues, which have been allocated to address life safety issues the Pueblo County Jail. Several new expenditures are also included, including building redevelopment for the Department of Social Services and funding to keep existing programs intact.
