Single-lane closures coming to 4th Street on Dec. 12

Lane restrictions will begin Dec. 12 at 4th Street and Chester Avenue in Pueblo, allowing CDOT crews to work on several road projects in the area. 4th Street will be reduced to a single lane in both directions at the intersection. Northbound Chester will close at 3rd Street, and traffic will be detoured onto North Bradford Street. Signed detours will be posted during the construction. The work is part of the $10 million Colorado 96 Improvement Project, which includes intersection improvements, signal replacement, resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation. The project began in July and is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. More information on the project can be found on CDOT’s website.
