Latest Traffic, Weather and School Information for your Friday Morning

The roads are looking better this morning across much of Southern Colorado, however some side roads may be icy, especially in the Monument area, and in parts of Teller County, Woodland Park, and Hwy. 24 into Colorado Springs.

There are some school delays right now:

LPSD schools are CLOSED on Friday, November 18, due to icy, hazardous road conditions.

Family of Christ – Childcare Open at 6 Am/Part Day Classes Canceled

Monument Acad. Charter Sch.: Closed. No BASE. ALL activities canceled.

ROADS:

C-DOT is showing no major delays or problems, however I-70 though the mountains and near the Eisenhower Tunnel could still be an issue, and snow chains may be required.

I-25 north to Denver is flowing smoothly right now, and there are no reports of major issues in Denver, however some roads have ice and snow on them, so drive slowly.

We will continue to update this story as new information comes in.

It will be much cooler today, with highs only in the 30’s.
