Warnings issued for high fire danger today

Fire danger is elevated today across southern Colorado. Winds will range out of the south, southwest from 15 – 25 mph. Some gusts could reach 40 mph over and near the mountains.

Red Flag Warnings continue until 7 p.m. all across southern Colorado. Remember – don’t throw cigarette butts, postpone any outdoor burning and report any smoke if you see it!
